Today our team noticed an increase in the number of Google 7-pack listings showing the URL instead of the business’s actual URL. While these types of listings have popped up in the past, they were usually for SMBs that either did not have a webpage or had not claimed their Google Places page.

Today, however, we’re seeing the Google Map URL (redirecting into Google+ Local) show up in listings for highly competitive keywords and for businesses with very strong websites that are likely claimed.

The highlighted businesses listed above do not have a URL to their website showing on their Google+ Local page.

We suspect this is an issue with yesterday’s release, in which Google fixed an error on Google+ Local that prevented a successful click-through to the business webpage.
