CHICAGO – March 15, 2015 – Location marketing technology leader SIM Partners (www.simpartners.com) has been named a finalist in BIA/Kelsey’s 2016 GOLOCAL Awards competition. GOLOCAL celebrates the best local marketing initiatives deployed by brands, which BIA/Kelsey forecasts will spend $61 billion on local audience targeting in 2016.
SIM Partners is among 10 finalists that will be showcased at BIA/Kelsey’s upcoming conference, BIA/Kelsey BRANDS, March 22, in New York City. Finalists were determined by an independent judging panel of local advertising and marketing experts, who evaluated a competitive field of entries. The top three entrants will be named the 2016 GOLOCAL Awards winners and will be announced on stage at BIA/Kelsey BRANDS.

Innovation Finalist: “Shoe Carnival Innovates to Turn ‘Near Me’ Moments of Search into Next Moments of Conversion With Velocity”
Shoe Carnival, Inc., one of the nation’s largest family footwear retailers, leveraged SIM Partners’ Velocity to turn “near me” moments of search into “next” moments of conversion by engaging customers with compelling messages and offers that accelerated the consumer journey from search to purchase. Velocity Wallet offers on store location pages were downloadable to a consumer’s mobile wallet; once offers were downloaded to a consumer’s device they could be redeemed in-store. Mobile wallet offers also gave Shoe Carnival the ability to send notifications to consumers based on location via latitude-longitude and proximity within the store via beacons.
Sales/Revenue Finalist: “Advocate Health Care Surpasses Patient Acquisition Goals with Velocity”
Advocate Health Care selected SIM Partners’ local marketing automation platform, Velocity, to be visible, relevant, and engaging where and when patients were looking for a physician. With Velocity, Advocate harnessed the power of its location data to transform the patient experience and drive patient acquisition at scale, surpassing their year-over-year appointment growth goals. The accuracy of Advocate’s location data increased, resulting in a 110% increase in visits to physician profile pages. The new physician profile pages — with immersive content built using responsive design — saw an 80% increase in appointment conversion.
