Google continues to enhance the user experience, by collecting more data from consumers and provide better location tracking. Knowing a person’s location can help Google in some of the following ways:

  • Location-based search results when someone does a search.
  • More accurate navigation instructions on Google Maps.
  • Better location-based data, such as traffic predictions for one’s commute.
